Hydration is important, and we’re here to make it even easier! But we know you’re bound to have questions, like “How many mountains could my Arzarf water bottle holder reasonably roll down and stay intact?” or “Is my Arzarf safe for my toddler to chew on?”
If you have questions, we have answers (probably). Start here to explore some of the more common questions we’ve heard. If you still don’t see the information you see about our sweet silicone sleeve, just drop us a line and we’ll get back to you quickly!
See? We told you this was a question people have! Okay, so maybe folks don’t just ask about losing their water bottle and Arzarf down a mountain side, but we do know a lot of our silicone sleeve users like to get outdoors and put their gear through the wringer. The good news is that Arzarfs are made to hold up against a lot of tough outdoor activities. We put our products through rigorous testing and can confirm that Arzarfs are great for use outdoors because that’s what we wanted them to handle.
Arzarf silicone sleeves are made to handle the same conditions as the typical insulated water bottle, like a Yeti or Hydro Flask. They can handle boiling water and getting tossed in the freezer. And, while we don’t have an exact number of mountains our water bottle sleeve can handle getting tossed down, we can say that they’ve been taken backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, and more — all without issue!
But hey, if you do figure out just how many mountainsides an Arzarf bottle sleeve can get tossed down before breaking, let us know! We’re still working on that answer ourselves...
If you have a ruler or measuring tape handy, the answer is easy. Each Arzarf is listed with a diameter range, so simply measure across the bottom of your chosen drink receptacle to get the diameter. We generally call Arzarfs water bottle sleeves because that’s what we wanted them to accompany, but you can absolutely use them for thermoses, baby bottles, soda cans, mason jars, beer bottles, and any other round or round-adjacent receptacle you choose. Plus, since they’re made to handle boiling and freezing temperatures, you can use our silicone sleeve for just about any drink receptacle without worry.
Throw it down a mountain and grab it at the bottom — and then some!
Well, maybe not literally, but that’s more because we want you to be able to find your water bottle and Arzarf later. In terms of care, this hardy silicone sleeve is made to take a beating, and keep providing an easy, textured grip.
To care for your Arzarf silicone sleeve, just throw it on your favorite water bottle and go. If it gets crusted in mud, rinse with water, and use a bit of dish soap for disinfecting purposes. While it can handle the temperature of boiling water, we don’t recommend putting our bottle sleeves through the dishwasher — Arzarfs can handle the heat, but multiple hot washes could cause it to wear down faster.
Arzarfs are a really cool texture, so your teething kiddo may want to go to town. Or maybe you just want to lick off that spilled coffee. Hey, we don’t judge! Arzarf water bottle holders are indeed food safe, so don’t worry about it breaking down if your toddler decides to give it a chew — but maybe make sure the dirt from your last adventure is wiped off first. We can say that our product will hold up; we can’t promise it’ll stay germ-free through everyday use. But it’s no big deal since you can easily finse it with soap and water or wipe it down with a baby wipe!
As is the case with so many things, invention was born of necessity. A lot of us here at Arzarf are active, outdoorsy people, and we’ve all experienced the hardship of a too-slippery grip after an awesome, exhausting adventure. We tend to love the oversized water bottles because they offer the best hydration, but they can definitely be unwieldy. Our owner, Michael, got the idea for Arzarf silicone sleeves after seeing his wife struggle to get a good grip on those huge Hydro Flask bottles. All she needed was a bit of additional grippy texture since she couldn’t wrap her hand all the way around the Hydro Flask, and now she loves that big ol’ bottle!
Most of ‘em! We’ve used our Arzarf water bottle sleeves on everything from Hydro Flask to Yeti, Nalgene to Kleen Kanteen. We made Arzarfs to be just stretchy enough to fit most options, without being too stretchy to stay on the bottle. Don’t worry about that non-name brand option you picked up at your local store; if it’s round (or even just round-ish), and it’s within the diameter parameters listed on each size, our silicone sleeve will fit.
Yes! We know that a lot of outdoor adventures are likely to take you to some toasty locales. You rely on your insulated water bottle to keep your water cold, even on a hike through desert terrain, and we made sure our water bottle sleeve can keep up. Arzarfs can handle a dunk in boiling water, so it can handle a day hike in summer heat. It’s also made of a type of silicone that can handle ongoing heat, so don’t worry about using your Arzarf bottle sleeve to protect your hands against hot beverages.
Just as it is with heat, our silicone sleeves are also made to handle the cold. Don’t hesitate to throw an Arzarf on your water bottle before heading into the mountains for a run after run of skiing or a day-long snowshoeing trip. And, of course, if you’ve got a super-crisp drink in your hand, definitely use your Arzarf cool water bottle sleeve to protect your hand from the ice-cold temperatures of non-insulated bottles.
We do! Black and magenta are our starting run of silicone sleeves, but we’re currently working on formulating a range of awesome colors that will boast the same great benefits. Over time, we also plan to produce a few other textures.
Are you looking for a specific water bottle sleeve style or color? We want to hear from you! Drop us a line and let us know what you want. The more popular an idea, the more likely it is we will make it happen, so let your voice be heard!
