When you’re tired and sweaty after a hard day of adventuring — however that looks like for you — it can be hard to keep a solid grip on your favorite hydration receptacle. When the bottle is big enough, it can be hard to grasp and hard to open, and, really, who’s got time for all that hassle?
The Arzarf silicone sleeve was created as a way to make it easier to get a grip on water bottles and thermoses of all shapes and sizes — but especially the big ones. That way, you don’t have to downsize your hydration just so you can get a better grip. Ready to get started? Follow these easy steps:
Choosing the right Arzarf size is pretty straightforward. Grab a ruler and measure across the bottom of your favorite water bottle, thermos, coffee mug, or kids’ sippy cup. Since the Arzarf can handle freezing and boiling temperatures, it’s a great option for pretty much any drink holder that needs a bit of extra grip. Measure directly across the center on the bottom of your preferred drink receptacle. Or, if you love your Yeti tumbler (or any other reusable drink thermos that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom), measure across the top. Basically, you’ll need to find the diameter of the width where you want the Arzarf water bottle sleeve to go. It’s got a bit of stretch, but you’ll notice that we’ve got a couple of different sizes for a reason.
The bottle sleeve should sit snugly enough that it won’t slide off, but not so snug that you can’t even get it on your drink holder. If the diameter falls between 2.5 inches and 3.25 inches, you’ll need a small Arzarf. If it’s 3.25 inches up to 4 inches wide, grab the large Arzarf.
If your chosen drink receptacle doesn’t fit within either of those ranges, contact us and let us know! More sizes and colors are on their way, and we want to hear what you want!
So, here’s the thing. The idea behind the Arzarf silicone sleeve is that it should fit snugly on the water bottle, thermos, or whichever drink receptacle you’re using. As with so many things in life, you’ll need to put in a tiny bit of effort to enjoy the abundant rewards of our awesome little silicone sleeve. The truth of the matter is that, in order to get the tight grip between silicone sleeve and bottle, you’ll have to put a little effort into getting your Arzarf on. Think about it this way: putting an Arzarf silicone sleeve on your favorite water bottle is a lot like trying to put on a snug rubber glove. It’s going to take a bit of effort. But here’s the trick:
We know you’ll want to throw your Arzarf on your best insulated water bottle as soon as it arrives. Instead of just dropping the mail and putting the Arzarf on right away, stop and take an extra 30 seconds to run your drink receptacle and Arzarf sleeve under some water. That’ll make it so much easier to slide the sleeve on! Of course, if you’ve already got a bunch of stickers on your water bottle, it’s up to you whether you run water over them or not. Just remember that a little moisture will make them look more worn in!
That’s it. That’s really all it takes. And once installed, your Arzarf water bottle sleeve will be ready to handle any of the adventures you want to throw at it. Need to take it off? Try the same trick, and run a little water over both bottle and sleeve before sliding it off.
